Course Description
Understanding the criteria and considerations for choosing high-quality broodstock, including genetic traits, health status, reproductive performance and adaptability to farming conditions. Students will learn how to evaluate and select broodstock based on these factors, implement breeding programs to improve genetic traits, manage broodstock health and nutrition and ensure the long-term genetic and reproductive success of the breeding stock for sustainable aquaculture production.
