Course Description

This module focuses on the hands-on process of fish transfer and packaging, covering the machinery and techniques used to ensure efficiency, hygiene, and product quality. Participants will gain practical experience with automated sorting, weighing, ice slurry systems, vacuum and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), and transportation logistics. Emphasis is placed on maintaining fish welfare, cold chain management, and compliance with industry standards for safe and sustainable distribution.
